Video interviews

In light of COVID-19 we will be moving to video interviews via Attend Anywhere. No one should be attending in person for interviews.

5 minutes before your interview, please click on the link issued in your invitation to interview issued via NHS Jobs

The video service works best when accessed using the Google Chrome web browser on a PC, or Safari web browser on Mac (webcam required). You can also access our video interviews using a smartphone or tablet.

Click on the video below to find out more about the service. (Please note that the Patient Information Leaflet and YouTube video relates to patients and not candidates as we have adopted the app for video consultations instead of face to face appointments that some of the clinicians are using).

What to expect

Five minutes before your appointment time, click on the link included in your invitation to interview issued via NHS Jobs.

You will be taken through a series of steps to ensure that your equipment is set up correctly. Once the steps have been completed, you will be prompted to enter your name, date of birth and telephone number and accept the terms and conditions. This information is not stored beyond the length of the video consultation.

Once these steps have been followed, click on the ‘Start Call’ button and you will enter the interview room until your interview begins. You will see yourself on the video and hear music.

When the interview is ready to begin, your image will shrink and move to the corner of the screen and you will see the interview panel.
